We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Seth Pedigo of the Dead Broke Barons at Lost River Cave to discuss his banjo.  In the video below, Seth discusses the history of the banjo, how he came across his, and the symbolism behind his hand drawn illustrations on the instrument.  This piece was produced by WKU PBS crew member Neil Purcell.

LRS going "LIVE!" in new concert series at the Capitol Arts Center.

Lost River Sessions, the folk music series produced by WKU Public Broadcasting is kicking off a new live concert series for the general public hosted at the Capitol Arts Center in Bowling Green, KY.  The first concert is scheduled for September 15th at 7pm and will feature the Dead Broke Barons, the Misty Mountain String Band, and the Carmonas.  Tickets ($10) are on sale now here.  Additional information can be found here.
