The American Songster, and a founding member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dom Flemons gave a live presentation earlier this year with instrumentalist Brian Farrow based on African American music traditions in Kentucky and Appalachia.  The event was held and assembled by the Clifton Center in Louisville, KY.  Topics include Louisville jug music, the history of the banjo, and the importance of performing folk songs in a live setting.
