Lost River Sessions is back at The Capitol and this time we are bringing Hancock and Shouse with Logan Murrell!
On September 21, come join us for a night of music and fun with the wonderous Hancock and Shouse! The newly formed band comprises several recognizable musicians from the bluegrass genre. The bluegrass quintet has gone to win “Best Bluegrass” by Appalachian Arts & Entertainment in 2022 and has shown no sign of slowing down. Hancock and Shouse have elements of the traditional bluegrass sound while also beautifully displaying their ability to make music for current times. With their boisterous string sound, Hancock and Shouse will guarantee to have you on your feet.
Knoxville, TN native Logan Murrell will be starting off the night with us! Logan Murrell has been playing music ever since she was 4 years old. Starting out playing the piano and then going on to perform with the Knoxville Symphony and many popular variety shows in the area. Show-woman ship is one of Murrell’s many talents. With her first EP “Lonely Night in a Crowded Bar” that dropped in March of 2022, Logan Murrell displayed her ability to mix country, and R&B to create a sound that speaks to your heart.
