JUST ANNOUNCED: LRS LIVE! will be partnering with the Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival for our next concert to be held on SATURDAY, May 20th at the Capitol Arts Center in Bowling Green, KY. The show will feature Lillie Mae, Jenni Lyn, and Mt Victor Revue.
Lillie Mae: You might not know her name yet, but chances are you’ve heard her work. Spending the last six years as Jack White's fiddle and mandolin player, Lillie Mae is now stepping out on her own with ‘Forever and then Some,’ Mae’s debut solo album, also produced by White. With an appearance in the upcoming PBS documentary, American Epic, in addition to debuting the song “Over the Hill and Through the Woods” this month on Conan, we’re excited to introduce Lillie to the Capitol Arts Center on May 20th.
Jenni Lyn: Lyn’s work with the Grammy nominated all female bluegrass group, Della Mae, has been a wildly popular staple in the folk music community, but with the release of her gorgeous debut solo album ‘Burn Another Candle’ Jenni is stepping into her own. Bridging the gap between traditional and progressive elements of bluegrass, we can’t wait to debut Lyn’s music to Lost River Sessions.
Kicking off things will be hometown heroes, and crowd favorites, Mt. Victor Revue, making their second appearance at this festival.
Additional activities will be announced soon. Tickets ($15) go on sale Wednesday, April 26th at 2pm and can be purchased here.
